The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me….

Fairfax,SC-Frank Youmans Jr. was born the son of the late Mr. Frank Sr.and the late Mrs. Clara Thompson Youmans , in Allendale County, March 5, 1923. He joined  Miller Swamp Missionary Baptist Church in his youth. Affectionately known as “Tubee”, Frank received his education in the public schools of Allendale County. He was employed many years with Connley Farms, Ulmer, South Carolina and Loadholt Farms, Fairfax, South Carolina.

His sense of humor and his favorite sayings, will forever linger with us. He was a loving father, an endearing grandfather, and he loved his Josephine. “Mountain Dew’ was his favorite drink.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and a son,  John Frank "Mickey" Youmans .Our father called  him from labor to reward, Sunday August 27, 2017 at the Pruitt Health Care Center, Estill, South Carolina.

Cherishing his loving memory: a loving son; Andrew(Carolyn) Youmans, Brunson,SC, three loving daughters: Shirley(Verdell) Early, Varnville, SC, Mary Louise Young, K. Annette(Alexander)Roberts, both of Fairfax, SC, daughter-in-law ; Willie Mae Youmans, Allendale, SC, sister-in-law; Fannie Youmans, fourteen grandchildren , twenty-two great-grandchildren, four great - great  grandchildren; a special caregiver, Diane Eady, and  host nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be

So he put his arms around you and whispered “Come to me”

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you quickly fade away

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands put to rest

God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best!
