Minnie was born May 27, 1945 in Gifford, SC, to the late R.C and Geneva Dobson. At an early age she joined Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church and received her formal education in the public school of Gifford, SC. 

She was married into holy  matrimony to Mr. Norman Jackson . Minnie was vibrant and full of life, loved her family and she knew how to make us laugh. Throughout her lengthy illness, Minnie did not spend her time complaining but taught us how to fight and have hope that each day would get better.

She is preceded in death by her sister Cynthia Dobson and her brother Willie Best.  

Our Heavenly Father called her home to rest on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
