Thomas Williams, 73 of Concord, NC was born in Hampton County May 1, 1944 to the late Vonhelee Williams and the late Carrie Loadholt Williams.  He departed this life on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Concord, North Carolina. He was educated in the public schools of Hampton County.  At an early age, he relocated to Brooklyn New York.  On July 8, 1967, he married the love of his life the late Bessie Pack Williams.  To this union, two daughters were born. He was employed with a wiring company in NYC for years, then later in life started driving yellow medallion taxi and continued to do so for decades. 

In 2011, Thomas relocated from NYC to be in North Carolina with his daughters and granddaughters.  He was loving, kind and adored the ground they walked on.  Spending time with his grandchildren gave him joy.  Besides cooking, one of his other hobbies was fishing.  
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Bessie, brother Leon Williams and sister Gladys Brabham.

  He leaves to cherish fond memories two loving and devoted daughters, Dapheney Williams Hunter of Cary North Carolina and Tanya Williams Scarborough of Concord, North Carolina. Five granddaughters: Alexis Williams, Kiammi Hunter, Autumn Scarborough , Kennedy Hunter  and Alyssa-Lauren Scarborough .;Five brothers Donald(Juliette) Williams, Barnwell S.C., Lee (Veta) Williams, Rosedale, N.Y., Clinton (Carolyn) Williams, Queens Village, N.Y., Lloyd(Barbara)Williams, Willingboro N.J., and Oneal Williams, Atlanta, GA.  Two Sisters: Lorine (Isaiah) Moore, Hampton S.C. and Dorothy Murdaugh, Estill S.C.,A  special brother-in-law Moise Pack of Columbia, S.C. and  sister-in-law Queen Esther Thomas in High Point, N.C.  He leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and sympathizing friends.
