Linda Buckner

Linda  Ann Buckner was born March 3, 1947 in Hampton County, South Carolina to Mrs. Polly Bryant and the late Mr. Freddie Bryant, Sr.  She was a member of Church of God Varnville, Varnville, South Carolina.  Linda was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina. 

“I finished my course, I kept the faith”. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Windell Bryant and a daughter, Cynthia (Sidney) Gray. On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, Linda was called home to rest to be with the LORD, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. 

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the LORD, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day”. 

Cherishing her loving memory: her husband, Leroy Buckner, Sr of Lodge, SC; three daughters, Terry (John) Wright of Estill, SC, Latoya Buckner of Columbia, SC, and Marquita (Wayne) Ladson of  Aiken, SC; one son, Leroy Buckner, Jr of the home; a loving mother, Polly Bryant of Hampton, SC; five sisters, Louise Bryant of  Hampton, SC, Joanne Bryant of Opa-Locka, FL, Mary Bryant of Charleston, SC, Ruby (James) Smith of Hampton, SC, Brenda Ann (Alvin) Hair of Columbia, SC,; four brothers, Fred Henry (Mary) Bryant, Jr of Hampton, SC,  Leroy Bryant of Patterson, NJ, Clifford (Daphne) Bryant of Harrisburg, PA and Joseph Bryant of Hampton, SC; three sisters-in-laws, Clara Bell Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Dorothy Davis of Islandton, SC and Barbara Buckner of Florence, SC; three brothers-in-laws, David Buckner of Islandton, SC, Joseph Buckner and Talbert Glover of  Lodge, SC; a treasured grandson and granddaughter, Dwayne Ladson and Mikayla Ladson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
