Mae Francis Eady, affectionately called “Verda” was born in Allendale County, South Carolina, on February 28, 1936, to the late Mr. Tommy Bostick and the late Mrs. Ruby Williams Bostick.
At an early age she received her education in the public schools in Hampton County. Mae was a former employee of 20 years with Colbert Plywood in Fairfax, South Carolina.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her great sense of humor, favorite sayings, and her laughter will forever linger in our ears and hearts.
“Verda” was well loved and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Moses Eady; sister Mae Bell Bostick Young; and brothers; James, William, Clarence, Willie, Verdell, and Tommy Bostick, Jr.
Our Heavenly Father called her to rest at her residence, on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her memory: four loving children, Johnny Eady of Columbia, South Carolina, Apostle Willie (Minister Alma) Eady of Hampton, South Carolina, Sarah (Joe) Bing of Varnville, South Carolina, and Burnette Gamble of Spartanburg, South Carolina; two sisters, Catherine (Herman Lee) Thomas of Fairfax, South Carolina, Evangelist Lue Ellen Coker of Brooklyn, New York, brother- in-law, Edward Eady of Fairfax, South Carolina; sister-in- law, Melvie Bostick of Furman, South Carolina; 19 grands and 32 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great nephews, cousins and other relatives; and caring friends.
