Hampton, SC- Wayne was born the son of Dr.  Sarah Frances Rivers Williams and the late Reverend Sidney Williams in Hampton County, South Carolina, July  13, 1962 and to this union two children were born.  At an early age he joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, and was a 1980 graduate of Wade Hampton High School.

Wayne furthered his education at Orangeburg, Denmark and Midlands Technical colleges where he majored in Industrial Technology, Automotive Body Repair, Welding and Electronics. He was employed as an automotive body repairman for Mixson’s Auto Body Shop of Hampton, South Carolina, the former Bishop’s Body Shop of Varnville, SC and as a T.V. repairman for the former Wood’s T.V. and Appliance Repair, Allendale, South Carolina.He is preceded in death by his father, the late Rev. Sidney Williams; five aunts: Angelene Rivers, Martha Walker, Irene Gardner, Virginia Williams, Johnnie R. Brooker  and  two uncles; Jake Rivers and Miller Rivers.  Our heavenly father called him to rest on Friday, February 16, 2018, at his residence.  He leaves to adore and cherish memories of him: loving and devoted mother: Dr. Sarah Frances Williams of the home; brother Sidnard (Cynthia) Williams,Sr., Barnwell,SC, Three uncles: Rev. Wesley (Fannie) Williams, Deacon James Williams, all of Brunson, SC, Lenon Brooker, Hampton,SC; grand aunt, Juanita Glover, Varnville,SC; and grand uncle, Edward (Edna) Crosson, all of Varnville, SC; two nieces: Trinity Williams,and Natassja Thomas, a nephew; Sidnard Williams Jr., and a host of cousins, including a special cousin, Mrs. Peggy Brabham,other relatives, caregivers, Annie Williams and Annie Stephens and many sympathizing  friends.
