Estill- Evangelist Willie Mae Kearse (Roberts),affectionately known as “Willette”, was born July 24, 1950, in Hampton County, South Carolina, to the late Willie Kearse, Sr., and Anna Owens Kearse. She attended the public schools system of Hampton County. At an early age, “Willette” joined St. Peter AME, Gifford, South Carolina, and later, Greater Faith (COGIC), Fairfax, South Carolina.
“Willette” was united in holy matrimony to the late JoNathan Roberts in 1967, and they were blessed with three sons, which she instilled Christian values.It was Resurrection Sunday, March 31, 1991, when God gave her the vision in her house to bring forth New Abundant Life COGIC. Henceforth, as a faithful leading member, she served as the Prayer Warrior on the Evangelist Team for many years until her demise.She had a passion for praying and interceding for her family and others. Our Heavenly Father summoned her from labor to reward on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Hampton Regional Medical Center, Varnville, South Carolina.
Evangelist Kearse leaves to cherish her memory and legacy: Apostle John (Prophetess Tara) Roberts, Gastonia, NC, Tyrone Roberts, Charlotte, NC, and Elder Jerome Roberts, San Diego,CA; reared as her own: grandson, LeAntre’ Markeith (Nadia)Roberts; five sisters: Evangelist Reather Mae Alston, LeArder Kearse, and Gloria Kearse, all of Greensboro, NC, Annie Mae Priester, Fairfax, SC, and Brenda Raymond, Estill, SC; three brothers: Willie Kearse, Jr., Madison,FL,Bishop Larry Kearse,Yemassee, SC, and Rudolph Kearse, Utah; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers-and-sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, reared as her own; nieces and nephews,including a special great-niece, Dassja Raymond, two special great-nephews, Jareed Raymond and Zedikyah Raymond, and other family and church members whom she touched in life.
