Barbara Toussaint

Barbara Ann Williams Toussaint was born on November 8, 1954 in
Brunson, South Carolina to the late Mrs. Annie Lee Hay Ritter and
William Ritter. She was educated in the public schools of Hampton
County, South Carolina. At and early age, she joined Jackson Branch
Baptist Church, Brunson, South Carolina. Barbara relocated to New
York where she was employed with a group home for young mothers
with children. She would eventually return home to South Carolina and
become gainfully employed with the Allendale County Hospital, Fairfax,
South Carolina.
Barbara was blessed with five children and enjoyed spending time with
family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons,
Ronald and Donald Williams; one sister, Alice Gillyard; six brothers,
William Williams, Johnnie Williams, Kenneth Williams, Marvin
Williams, Aldolph and Milton.
Our Heavenly Father called her home to rest, January 30, 2022, at
Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, Ga.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: three children, Marion (Irene)
Williams, of Ft. Pierce, FL, Steven (Dorothy) Williams and Allison
Williams, both of Fairfax, SC; reared in the home, MSGT (Ret.) Charles
Anderson; sister, Ebony (Bryant) W. Brown, of Charleston, SC; four
brothers, Cleveland Ritter, Edward (Cora) Williams and Randolph
Williams, all of Brooklyn, New York, Carl (Kimberly) Williams, of
Maryland; sister-in-law, Patricia McCann, of Brooklyn, NY;
grandchildren, Nakeema (Fred), Jason, JD (Tayna), Jaron (Monaka),
Teyondra, Deshawn, Tyra and Raheme; great-grands, Ronald, Nia, Nyla,
Lil Fred, Karson, Shawn, Lashawn, and D’nari; great-great-grands,
Kayden, Duvall, Jakari, Jada, Anisha, Jaylen, Jaya and JJ; a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
