Brandon Marquis Terry was born on October 8, 1986, in Hampton County, South Carolina to Olesia Terry and Darrin White. Sadly, on Wednesday, November 9, 2021, at his mother’s residence, Brandon’s name was called by our Heavenly Father and he went home to rest.
As a youth, Brandon attended the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the New Hope Youth Choir. He attended the Hampton County public school system and obtained his High School Equivalency Diploma on October 30, 2004. Shortly thereafter, he enrolled at the University of South Carolina (USC)- Salkehatchie Branch.
Brandon was an avid lover of all animals, especially dogs and for a period of time he worked at an animal farm in Yemassee, SC. He was a very humble young man who enjoyed fishing and working on anything you “allowed” him to work on.
He was preceded in by his grandparents, Jimmy and Helen Terry, Albertha D. Cohen; and an uncle, Dennis Terry.
Brandon leaves to cherish fond memories: his parents, Olesia Terry and Darrin White; two children, Na’sheya Terry and Cavein Terry; four siblings, Quinton Terry, of Fairfax, SC, Edeidra Duncan, of Columbia, SC, Adasia Duncan, of Hampton, VA, and Darius White, of San Antonio, TX; grandparents, Eva (Arthur) Fitts and Ossie White, all of Hampton, SC; four uncles, Dennis White, of Hampton, SC, Selwyn Doctor, of Varnville, SC, Derrick White, of Anniston, AL and Darryl White, of Anderson, SC; two aunts, Michelle White, of Varnville, SC and Maderia Lawton, of Spartanburg, SC; four great- aunts and two great uncles; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
