Catherine LoadhoLt aLbany was born May 8, 1952, in Hampton County, South Carolina to the late Mr. Ernest Loadholt, Sr., and Mrs. Louise Haynes Loadholt. At an early age she joined Cherry Grove Christian Church, Brunson, SC, and later United Love Christian Church, Fairfax, SC. She received her education in the public schools of Allendale County.
Catherine was united into holy matrimony Mr. Martin Albany and was a loving mother to three children, a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Pamela Albany Burison, and a brother, Ernest Loadholt.
On Monday, December 7, 2020, at the Allendale County Hospital, Fairfax, SC, Catherine made her peaceful transition to be with the Lord.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her two beloved children, Lawanda (Phillip) Brisbon, Fairfax, SC, and Quincy Albany, Allendale, SC; grandson, Kendrick Brisbon; great- grandson, Kabien Brisbon; devoted brother, Herman Loadholt, Brooklyn, NY; two uncles, Willie Fields, Greenville, SC, and Godis Davis, PA; three aunts, Elnora Loadholt, Luberta Fields, Greenville, SC, and Annie Mae Loadholt, Fairfax, SC; three brothers-in-law; seven sisters- in-law, one to whom she was a motherly figure, Trenton Smalls; two special nieces, Theresa Loadholt and Cynthia Harris; and host of other nieces, nephews, cousins - including special cousins, Deloris Smith, Alice Drayton, and Mattie Loadholt; other relatives, and caring fr
