Diane Jones, the daughter of the late Jessie Sr. and late Maebell Bostick Young, was born in Allendale County on May 15, 1955. She received her education in the public schools of Allendale County. At an early age, Diane accepted christ as her personal savior and joined Goodwill Baptist Church in Estill, SC. She was a former employee of Falcon Industries of Estill, SC, and a dedicated staff member of 24 years for Riley’s Funeral Home Hampton Chapel, Inc.She was married to the late Jimmy Jones, Sr.Diane was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia “Cat” Young; and brothers, Jessie Young, Jr., Clarence Bostick, Henry Lee “Sam” Young, and Earl Young.
Diane transitioned into eternal life on Friday, July 22, 2022.
Diane leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Crystal (Karl) Burnell of Chesapeake, VA, and Vanessa Jones of Charlotte, NC; sons, Jimmy (Kameshia) Jones,Jr., of Estill, SC, and Mark (Monique) Young of Charleston, SC; sisters, Ruby (Ricky)Gray of Fairfax, SC, Shirley (Stevie) Cartledge of Martin, SC, Evetta (Kyle) Koiner of Brooklyn, NY, Sharon Coleman of Lancaster, SC, Sylvia (James) Badger, Jr., and Mattie Lee Washington, both of Fairfax, SC; brothers, Darryl Young and Willie Young, both of Fairfax, SC, and Michael (Kavonda) Bostick of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Kelley, Kelsey, Kennedy, Russell, Victoria, Jayden, Jaida, Jocelyn, Ronald, and Tahjanique; aunts, Catherine (Herman Lee) Thomas of Fairfax, SC, Evangelist Ellen Coker of Brooklyn, NY, Roberta Danials of Pinebluff, AR, and Melvie Bostick of Furman, SC; and a host of family, nephews, nieces, and more compassionate and supportive friends.
