Obituary

Dr. Dana Davis was born on June 12, 1971, in Hampton, S.C. to SMSgt H. James Behlin and the late Annie L. Davis.  During his childhood he attended Bethlehem Baptist Church, Hampton and the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Varnville.

He graduated from Wade Hampton High School, Hampton, S.C., Class of 1989.  He attended Morris College where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Computer Science.

Dana married Tiffany M. Davis February 25, 2008, and together they share seven children. Dana had a wonderful sense of humor, in which he loved to laugh and tell jokes. He was a family man and his presence would light up any room. Dana was a lover of all genres of music. He loved to travel to see his favorite jazz artist Robert Glasper. He loved riding his motorcycle, “starting” DIY projects (some would call him “The Youtube King”). He was the proud owner of Clean Hands Cleaning Services of Charlotte NC where he built close relationships with his devoted employees.

Dr. Davis was an avid worshipper. He believed in the “free flowing” spirit of worship; he was the embodiment of the spirit of praise and worship. After nine years of practicing Islam, Dr. Davis accepted Christ into his life as Lord and Savior. Later he became a licensed and ordained minister with Holy City Keys Ministries in Sumter S.C.   August 2001, he was ordained Elder with Miracle Deliverance Ministries and later went on to Pastor Miracle Deliverance Ministries II.  Dr. Davis moved to Charlotte N.C., July 2004 and launched what is now known as The Kingdom Centre.

September 2009, Dr. Davis received his honorary Doctoral Degree in Philosophy from Appointed by God Ministries. Dr. Davis is author of the book “The Kingdom Basic Concepts for Understanding the Kingdom”; with the foreword by the late renowned Dr. Myles Munroe.

Dana departed this life on April 27, 2022, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother Annie L. Davis and his brother James D. Behlin.
