Henry Singleton was born the son of the late Mr. Woodrow Singleton and Mrs. Lillie Mae Bostic in Hampton County, South Carolina, September 21, 1952. He received his education in the public schools of Hampton County. He was married to the former Ms. Deborah Williams, and four children were born to this union.Henry, often referred to as “Crow”, and "Bubba" was employed as a truck driver for many years. Crow was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carrie Cofield, and brothers, Nathaniel and Woodrow Singleton, Jr.
He entered into peaceful slumber at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC, on Sunday, October 18, 2020. He leaves to cherish his legacy: a loving wife, Deborah Ann Singleton; four children, Christopher (Tiffany) Singleton, Queens, NY, Sgt. Rev. Troy (Shavonne) Singleton, Fort Mitchell, AL, and Pamela Singleton and Henry Williams, both of Gifford, SC; three with whom he had a fatherly relationship, Johnny (Michelle) Gordon II, Ridgeland, SC, Arthur (Evaleon) Gordon, Varnville, SC, and Micheal (Jasheca) Bryant; four sisters, Vinnie Dobson, North Carolina, Lillian (Charles) Deloach, Hampton, SC, Lillie R. (Matthew) Bing, Varnville, SC, and Lori Creech, Columbia, SC; four brothers, Willie (Maxine) Singleton, Orangeburg, SC, Clarence (Elaine) Singleton, Paterson, NJ, Bernard (Betty) Singleton, Estill, SC, and James Edward Singleton, Gifford, SC; sisters-in-law, Luberta Singleton, Gifford, SC, Betty Singleton, Orangeburg, SC, Darie (Kenneth) Burgess, Kathleen Mitchell, Gifford, SC, Brenda (Charles) Deloach, Patricia Crittington, Beverly (George) Orr, all of Brunson, SC, and Belinda Williams, Barnwell, SC; brothers-in-law, Carol Mack (Jackie) Williams, Gastonia, NC, 1st Sgt. Ret. Cauety Randolph, (Sgt. 1st Class Ret. Cynthea) Williams, Denver, NC, Ray A. (Deneane) Williams, Fairfax, SC, John (Peggy) Williams, Brunson, SC, and Sgt. 1st Class Ret.
