Lankward “Lank” Gooding

Lankward Gooding was born on June 26, 1952  the son of the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Deloris Brooker Gooding in Allendale  County, South Carolina. He attended Sweet   Bethel CME Church in Allendale County at an early age. Lankward enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1972 and was united in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Alice O’Neal Gooding on April 17, 1999. He was a brick mason by trade and in 2015 received a      degree in Construction Management from Denmark     Technical College, Denmark, South Carolina. Lankward answered the Master’s call Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his residence. He leaves to cherish his loving memories; four step-children, Pastor Micheal (Tracy) O’Neal, Cynthia O’Neal, both of Aiken, South Carolina, Lakisha (Shawn) Frederick, of  Atlanta, Georgia, and Ronald O’Neal, of the home; 10 step- grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; 4 siblings,      Pastor Darnell Moore, of Allendale, South Carolina, Edward Gooding, of Greer, South Carolina, Lindburgh Gooding, of  Allendale, South Carolina and James (Mary W) Gooding, of Martin, South Carolina; and a host of devoted nieces,    nephews, cousins, other relatives and caring friends,
