Michael T. Davis, Sr.

Michael Tyrone Davis Sr, affectionately known a “Mike”, was
born on August 18, 1976 to the late Thomas Lee and Debra
Ann Davis (Lingard). He was the only son and the fourth of
five children born to this union.
Mike accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early
age.
In 2005, Mike met the love of his life and best friend,
Brudetra “Brucie Mae”, and they were united in holy
matrimony in 2010. They were blessed with two handsome
sons, Mehki Tyli Davis and Tyler Michael Davis. Mike was
also the proud father of three older children, Michael
Tyrone Davis, Jr, Jameisha Miasia Grant and Jasmine Lois
Kelley. He cherished his children and was a very loving
father. He was truly a devoted husband and father. When he
was no longer able to work outside of the home, he dedicated
his time caring for his home and family. He never missed
school functions, games, traveling with the family, and
babysitting his grandson and namesake, Michael III. Yet,
Mike’s true calling was bringing laughter and happiness into
the lives of his loved ones. Always the life of the party, he
was a caring, dependable, loyal and loving husband, father,
brother, son and friend. Mike will be sorely missed.
Mike leaves to cherish fond memories: a loving wife,
Brudetra Shaneek Davis; five children Jasmine Lois Kelley,
Michael Tyrone Davis, Jr, Jameisha Miasia Grant, Mehki
Tyli Davis, and Tyler Michael Davis; four grandchildren,
Michael Tyrone Davis III, E’zaria Ann’Jane Davis, Marley
Duckett and Jasonni Green; five sisters, Lisa Harris, Michele
Hamilton (Greg), Tyrhonda Davis (James), Angela Collins,
and Ashley Davis (Kevin); five sisters-in-law, Tonnelia,
Catharene, Amanda, Wanda (Alu), and Syrita; brother-in-
law, Bruce (Jennie); father-in-law, Bruce Brown; three
step-brothers, Greg, Blair and Toby; aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends, Brian Grayson and
Frank “Deo” Harmon.
