Mi’eshia Jalai’na Hagood was born the daughter of the late Elisha Hagood and Darrel L. Heyward in Colleton County March 15, 2001. She received her education in the public schools of Hampton County, and was employed with KFC of Lancaster, South Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandmother, and maternal great-grandmother. Mi’eshia entered into peaceful slumber August 24, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: Three sisters: A’Layna Alexis Hagood, of the home; Aishia (Darnell) Williams, Darleen (Jon) Green, both of Bridgeport, Connecticut; a devoted grandfather, James “Jimmy” Hagood, Jr., of Hampton, South Carolina; grandmother, Maybel (Edward) Heyward, Bridgeport, Connecticut, two loving and devoted aunts, LaTisha (James) Rodd and Wakisha Mitchell of Varnville, South Carolina; uncle, Mark Heyward, Bridgeport, Connecticut, maternal great grandfather, Deacon James Wallace “Pete” Hagood, Sr., of Hampton, South Carolina; a loving cousin, Marissa Mitchell of Varnville, South Carolina; loving great aunts, Loretta (Jimmy) Mixson, Evangelist Verta Thompson, Brender Gordon, and Mary Eleanor (James) Collins, all of Varnville, South Carolina, Deloris (Eddie) Pryor of Brooklyn, New York, Daphne (Richard) Lott of Augusta Georgia, Dianne Bohles of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and Patricia (Uton) Anderson of Long Island, New York; one great uncle, Jeff Campbell of Sarasota, Florida; and two nephews, a niece, a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
