RONNIE was born the son of Greely Stokes, Jr., and Mrs. Cattie Lee (John) Fields in Hampton County, South Carolina May 10, 1962. At an early age Ronnie attended Good Hope Baptist Church in Estill, SC. He was a graduate of Estill High School and employed with Carolina Landscape Maintenance for 25 years.He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Stokes; sister, Shirley D. Stokes; two uncles, Herbert Newton, Jr., and Clarence Newton; aunt, Bernice Green; maternal grandparents, Herbert Newton, Sr., and Cattie Newton; paternal grandparents, Greeley Stokes, Sr., and Lucille Stokes; and best friend, Donald Green.Our heavenly Father called him him to rest on September 3, 2022.He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his loving and devoted wife, Carol Stokes; children, Pamuela Stokes, Brandalyn Stokes, Ronnie Stokes, Jr., and Aaron Stokes; grandchildren, Ronnie Stokes III, Markion Stokes, Amiyah Stokes, Kendall Stokes, Jamira Stokes, and Kennedi Stokes; mother and father, Greeley Stokes, Jr., and Cattie Lee (John) Fields; brothers, Willie (Sylvia)Stokes, and Len (Felicia) Stokes; uncles, Kenyon (Mary) Newton, and Jerome Newton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra (Darryl) Bennett, Connie (Anthony) Wade, and James (Veronica) Singletary; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, two special friends Martin Baroni and Jerey Johnson and friends.
