Shajira Betties

Shajira Monae Betties was born in Allendale County, South Carolina, on December 6, 2003, to Keike Hilton and Michael Betties, Sr. On Tuesday, July 20, 2021 the Lord Jesus Christ in His infinite wisdom called Shajira home to be with Him in Glory.Shajira was a member of the Harmonia Baptist Church in Varnville, South Carolina.

Shajira was educated in the Barnwell County public school system, and was a student at Williston-Elko High School “Class of 2022”. She enjoyed participating in her school’s extra-curricular activities in sports. She ran track. and was a member of the Lady Blue Devil’s Varsity Basketball team.

She is preceded in death by her grand mother, Sharon Hilton and grand father, Jerome Betties.

Shajira leaves to mourn her loving memories: her parents, Keike Hilton and Michael Betties, Sr.; her grandparents, Ronald Hilton and Mattie L. Betties; sisters, Javaiden Coleman and Kadence Abney; brother, Michael Betties, Jr; aunts, Shamonde Gooding (Mandy, her great-aunt), Taraneshia Rogers, Jennifer Rivers and Brandi Betties; uncles, Timothy Betties, Leonard Betties, Darien Bennett and Scottie Bennett; two special cousins, Dexter Smith and Calvin Elmore; a loving and devoted family friend, Wanda Coleman; special friends, Yamiya Wilson and Chaniya Draper; along with a host of other cousins, family members and friends
